After our breakfast we will move to the port of Paracas, where the tour will start at Las Islas Ballestas through "El Candelabro", a giant picture on the side of a hill. Upon arriving at the Ballestas Islands, we visit various islands for two hours, noting the different species of sea lions, seals, penguins and birds. Return for lunch "al fresco", then we will go in 4x4 vehicles towards the immense dunes area, to give those who have the opportunity to go sandboarding in the dunes. Later we head toward Nasca. Day 4: Nasca Lines - Arequipa

Morning transfer to the airport at Nasca, for a 45-minute flight over the Pampas of Nasca, where pre-Inca drew huge figures of animals and plants. Many believe that these figures were done by extraterrestrials; they include monkeys, spiders, and hummingbirds. Day 6: Arequipa City Tour

Arequipa is located at an altitude of 2325 masl in the desert mountains of the Andes, and 1000 km. south of Lima. In the historic center of Arequipa you can appreciate the purest arequipeño architectural style, which was consolidated at the end of the 17th century, from the overlap of Baroque Italian, Spanish Plateresque and original Andean. It displays a fascinating colonial past, surrounded by the Andes, at the foot of the Misti volcano. We visit different churches as the Cathedral, The Company, San Francisco, also visit the Plaza de Armas, the citadel of the Monastery of St. Catherine and we will have lunch in a restaurant serving food typical of Arequipa. Observe the three volcanoes with an afternoon trek.

Day 7: Arequipa-Chivay-Cabanaconde

Pickup at hotel. We start in the morning to Colca Canyon, passing through the foot of the volcano Chachani. During the journey, it passes through the pampas of Cañahuasi Arrieros where are found the National Reserve vicuñas and vizcachani, arrive at an altitude of 4000 masl to appreciate the flora and fauna of the beautiful natural lagoons. We reach the highest point in Patapampa (4810 masl), and observe the 3 volcanoes: Hualca Hualca (6025masl) Sabancaya (5978 masl) Ampato (6380masl). Lunch in Chivay. Day 8: Cabanaconde-Chivay

Condor del Colca

In the morning go to Cruz del Condor, where the canyon begins, and appreciate its depth. From this point we can also see the condor in the wild. After a brief stop at the Cruz del Condor, we will continue our journey through the Colca Canyon admiring the small towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma, Yanque, etc. Return to Chivay for lunch and free afternoon to enjoy the baths of La Calera. These possess healing properties for various ailments, with an average temperature between 35-38 deg C. Hotel Chivay.

Day 9: Colca - Puno

Chullpas de Sillustani - Puno PerúAfter breakfast continue towards the city of Puno in private transport, on the way we stop to admire a variety of different landscapes as well as the Andean chullpas; Sillustani, considered a sacred site, is more than three thousand years old, and where are found vestiges of ceramics and Inca construction. Here Pukara culture developed since 1500 BC, followed by Tiwanaku culture. Hotel Puno

Day 10 to 11: Puno - Lake Titicaca - Puno

Niña sentada de PunoPickup at hotel and transfer to the port, taking the boat to the island of Uros, visiting 2 floating islands where we can see the houses built in Totora, continuing the trip to the island of Amantani, visit the forest of reeds and Capachíca peninsula, before reaching the island. Settle into homes of families and then lunch, taking all afternoon to visit the island ( Temple Pachahatata, Pachamama) and at night after dinner the entire group has a concert of music of the area along with local families. Day 12: Puno - Cusco

Raqchi - Sicuris Cusco PerúBreakfast at hotel and transfer to the bus station to catch a tourist bus to Cusco, approx 8hrs. During the trip we visit Puke, an archaeological complex. Here is where we find the first sign of a civilized culture in the Peruvian highlands, dating from 4000 BC. At La Raya is the highest step of the route, this point is the combination of ridges, originating in the knot of Vilcanota. There is much to see in this area: Nevada, herds of vicuñas and alpacas. At Sicuani stop at a restaurant for lunch. Raqchi is the temple dedicated to Wiracocha, supreme God of the Incas. The temple was built with mud bricks and rocks. The site holds the remains of terraces, warehouses, bridges and cottages. At Andahuaylas the church is considered the Sistine Chapel of the Americas where we find a wide range of paintings and murals dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. The church is an impressive example of colonial art. Arrive in Cusco, reception and transfer to hotel. Hotel Cusco.

Day 13: Cusco

Tempklo de KoricanchaBreakfast at the hotel; in the afternoon, city tour of Cusco. The Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Monastery of Santo Domingo, the Koricancha Temple and nearby ruins of Kenko, Puka Pukará, Tambomachay and Sacsayhuaman, built with huge rocks whose construction so far remains an enigma, due to the absence of stone quarries in the area.

Day 14: Sacred Valley - Cusco

Muray - Complejo Arqueologico Pisaq CuscoSacred Valley tour in the morning, pick up from hotel and go to Pisaq, which is a typical market, with picturesque terraces cultivated in the mountains. Visit the archaeological area of Pisaq. It is also famous for its fairs where you can buy beautiful crafts. Then we go to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, where there are descendants of the Incas living in the home of the Incas. Finally we go to Chinchero to see its market and the archaeological features overlap with typical Spanish buildings. Return to Cusco.

Day 15: Machu Picchu

After breakfast pick go to the railway station from Cusco to start the trip to the world marvel of Machu Picchu, the lost City of the Incas. In the town of Machu Picchu we can visit the thermal baths and take a tour around picturesque places in the village. Arrive at the tourist village of Aguas Calientes. Hotel Aguas Calientes.

After breakfast, start the group tour for 2 hours, then towards the town of Aguas Calientes where we take the train to Cusco.

Day 18: Cusco – Lima

Return to Lima for connecting flights to countries of origin.
