MILTON DAVID MOGROVEJO VERA

 

I am the founder of the tour company and the coordinator of all our groups. I like to travel throughout Peru learn about its geography and natural beauty. I speak English, I’m learning Italian and I would like to learn more languages to be able to share the wonder of my country to the visitors of the world. I finished my studies at the Universidad Nacional San Agustin as a graduate in tourism.

I am married and have a 3 year-old daughter. My wife Rosa is a nurse by profession. She is responsible for the health of passengers and treats many with altitude sickness.

 

                

ARI TAPIERO

I am Canadian nationality and got it to be the operator in Canada.

I speak English, French, Hebrew, Spanish and I would like to further improve my Spanish to communicate better. I love photography is my passion and I am the photographer of the company. Bag black and white photographs with my professional camera.

                            

JOSE ROQUE

 

I'm the graphic designer of our company;  I have 10 years of experience and finished my studies at the University of Santa Maria. I update our website and answer all the mail we receive from our friends in different countries.

I am married with 3 children, my husband is from the Colca Canyon. I love my job because I can communicate with the entire world.

RAFAEL JUNCO SAICO

I was born and raised in the valley of the Colca, I like adventure tourism. I am the guide and trekking.

KAUSACHUN-TREKK-PERU, and the right-hand man of the general manager. I speak English and my native language is Quechua. I love my job because I can share with everyone the beautiful scenery that nature offers; to visitors I explain all the flora, fauna, and cultures that lived in the valley of the Colca as well as its legends. I know all about the condors in the Colca Valley and Cotahuasi. Soon, Colca Valley will be declared a natural wonder of the world, and I invite you to visit Peru.

 

BETO RODRIGUEZ

I am the driver of the agency KAUSACHUN-TREKK-PERU; I am responsible for picking up passengers from the airport and bus terminal. I know very well all the places visited in Peru and South America. I speak English very well, and also speak Quechua, the language of our country. I like the adrenaline of adventure tourism. I am married with 2 children.

 

                              

 

ROSARIO LINARES CORDOVA

I was born in the city of Arequipa and studied 3 years at the Institute ELMER Faucett. I work for the agency KAUSACHUN-TREKK-PERU as the coordinator along with the CEO. I speak English and I'm learning French.

I like experiential tourism, and I got into tourism out of a love of sharing wonderful experiences with many people from all over the world. I love music, especially traditional Peruvian music.

 

                                

 

MARY LUZ GAMARRA

I was born in the White City of Arequipa. After 5 years of studies I completed my studies at the National University of St. Augustine as an official tour guide.

I enjoy working in tourism because I like sharing ideas with people from all over the world and I love to learn everything about nature especially medicinal plants, flora and fauna. I speak English and I'm learning French and Italian. I am in charge of accompanying the passengers around South America. I love cooking and I especially like the cuisine from Arequipa.

 

 

 

ARASELIDE PAZ SOLDAN

 

I'm from the city of Arequipa, and I finished my studies at the institute Elmer Faucett after 3 years of study.

I love my job because I love to share my country with our guests. I also like to know people from around the world and help them learn about Peru. I speak English and I am very knowledgeable about archeology, botany, and camelids. I am responsible for accompanying tourists on their travels throughout Peru, especially the Colca Canyon.

 

 

DIANA LAURA ROJAS

Born in Arequipa, my parents were born in the city of Puno. I know very well Lake Titicaca and the Puno region.

I studied at the Institute ELMER Faucett for 3 years and now I am studying at the University of San Agustin in Hotel Administration. I speak English and each year I travel to Europe in order to refine my English and be able to share more with our visitors. I am responsible for making all the routes such as Arequipa city tour, countryside, etc. I love to sing with my band, where I am the lead vocalist.

 

JUAN FRANCISCO CONDORI HUACHANI

I was born in the last village in the valley of the Colca Cabanaconde. Through our company, Colca AUTO, my job as guide is to protect visitors and enable them to be prepared for all their travels. I know much about Colca since I am a legitimate guide in the region and speak basic English and of course, Quechua, the indigenous language of our ancestors. I know the routes across the valley and I know much about the cultures of the Collahuas. I am in charge of the expedition from the town of Cabanaconde Andahua. I also have my pack animals to help transport tourists and equipment. I am married with 5 children.

 

                            

 

MIGUEL UBALDO CACYALLICA

Born in the Colca Canyon in the town of San Juan de Chuccho. Through our company, Colca AUTO, my job as guide is to protect visitors and enable them to be prepared for all their travels. I speak basic English and Quechua, the native language of the area. I work for the agency KAUSACHUN-TREKK-PERU. As a local guide in the area I know very well the routes and pay respect to the Pachamama. I am responsible for making the dispatch from the valley of the Colca  to Espinar Cusco; this route has a variety of vegetation and South American camelids. I have 4 children and am married.

 

                                

 

MAGALY LIMA   FLORES

I was born in the White City of Arequipa. Currently I'm studying tourism at Elmer Faucett. I like my career as it allows me to share the traditions of our country. I speak English very well. I work for TREKK-PERU KAUSACHUN travel, in charge of reservations and coordinate all our groups with the manager. Adventure tourism is my passion, and I love typical Peruvian music as well as English songs, to help improve my English.

 

                                

 

KELLY YENNY VILCA

I was born in Colca, the world's deepest valley in the village of Achoma; this word in Quechua means “without sugar”. I know very well the Colca Valley. I studied tourism 3 years at the National University of San Agustin, then studied to be a chef. What I like is to prepare typical dishes of Peru and the Colca Valley for visitors. I know all the routes of the Canyon, and I love to go trekking. I speak English and Quechua. Every year I return to my village and wear traditional clothing to dance a typical dance of the Colca, the Wititi; this is known as the dance of love.
